Who We Are
MALONE BELTON ABEL P. C.
Our firm began in Wyoming in 1961, when Adrian Malone (1914-2006) brought his practice from San Francisco. Timothy Belton has managed the firm since 1984. Malone Belton Abel’s principal office is in Sheridan, Wyoming. In 2003 we opened our Laramie office under the direction of Duncan Kline.
The firm is a professional corporation consisting currently of seven registered professionals supported by associate architects and engineers. We provide complete Architectural, Planning, Interior Design and Structural Engineering services in-house. Each project we undertake is under the direct supervision of one of the firm’s principals, who follows the project through from beginning to end.
Malone Belton Abel has a long history of environmentally sensitive design. All our current projects are being designed with sustainability as a primary objective, whether or not they will be designated as LEED certified. Some notable projects at the University of Wyoming are the Visual Arts Facility, which in addition to being LEED Platinum, was in 2016 awarded one of 10 COTE awards, the highest national sustainable design recognition from the American Institute of Architects; and the Berry Center for Biodiversity Conservation, LEED Gold. The Northeast Wyoming Welcome Center on I-90 is the State of Wyoming’s first Zero Net Energy Building.
