Thane Magelky, AIA | Vice President

Thane Magelky has recently returned to Wyoming where he grew up, and is assuming a growing managerial role at Malone Belton Abel.  He is currently project architect on the Cody Northwest Rural Water District Office and Shop, and the renovation of the Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp outside Dubois.  Prior to joining our firm, he worked for ten years as a project manager at a larger Alaskan architectural firm, where his responsibilities included project management of the $63M award-winning Fairbanks Airport Expansion; design-build Air Force housing; and a Native health clinic and community resource center.  For a number of years he taught architectural drafting, AutoCAD, and codes & standards, at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. 

He received his B. Arch from the University of Oklahoma, and has LEED AP and NCARB certification.
